/Testimonial

“The content gave a whole new dimension to our business. We’re far more professional than before.”

Jos, founder of De Verdwaalde Jongens, shares his experience working with Nomia. We brought deep adventure travel expertise to build an immersive website, a full CMS, a booking system, and a content strategy that has been driving reservations since day one.

/CONTEXT

De Verdwaalde Jongens “The Lost Boys” organizes exclusive expeditions to the most remote corners of Kyrgyzstan.

Their ambition: translate their raw and authentic vision of travel into an inspiring digital presence, capable of attracting explorers in search of meaning and adventure.

Our mission: translate this promise of exploration into a complete brand universe, website, visual identity, photo and video content.

Web & Design

We designed an immersive web experience inspired by off-road travel maps. The site lets images and stories lead, with clean design and smooth transitions that give space to the raw beauty of Kyrgyzstan.

Content creation

We joined the team on location to shoot films and photographs of rare intensity — content that captures their DNA. All visual material was designed from the start to work across their website and social media campaigns.

/WEB

A digital experience designed to enhance images, present expeditions and transform visitors into travelers.

Customized CMS

A fully custom CMS built as a real operational database. The client manages expeditions, bookings, testimonials, photo and video galleries, and available vehicles for each session — all independently.

Design & user experience

Every page was built as an immersive showcase: strong visuals, elegant typography, clear hierarchy. The design elevates the content while guiding visitors toward conversion through smooth, intuitive navigation.

Webflow

We built the site on Webflow, giving the client a flexible, high-performance platform. Content updates are fully autonomous — no developer needed — while the underlying structure is optimized for SEO and loading speed.

Animation & micro-interactions

Smooth transitions, subtle hover effects, scroll-triggered animations: every detail is designed to bring the site to life and amplify the emotion of the imagery.

Automation

The site includes several automations: form sync with their booking tool, automated confirmation emails, and lead tracking. The goal: reduce manual work so the client can focus on what they do best — building unforgettable expeditions.

Performance & results

Since launch, the site attracts over 8,000 visitors per month and generates a steady flow of booking requests. Bespoke design combined with powerful content created an experience that builds trust and drives reservations.
/COLLABORATION

Over time, we became more than a supplier — a genuine extension of their team. Today we support De Verdwaalde Jongens on digital strategy, content production and ongoing site development, so their world keeps inspiring travelers everywhere.

/FAQ

Your questions, answered

I only need one service. Is it possible?

Of course. Each service operates independently. Many of our clients start with the website or the content, then add other services when they see the results. Learn more in our article "Digital strategy for travel agencies"

How does field content production work?

We send our videographers directly to your destinations. We handle all production logistics. Travel and accommodation costs are at your expense (or your clients'). Post-production is managed by our studio in Paris. Learn more on our content creation page.

Do you only work with travel agencies?

Mostly yes. Travel agencies, tour operators, DMCs, expedition organizers, tourism boards. This specialization is what makes us more effective and more relevant than a generalist agency. Learn more in our article "How to choose a web agency specialized in tourism"

What are your timelines?

Website: 4 to 10 weeks depending on the package. Field content production: planned according to your expedition dates. Communication strategy: operational within 2 to 3 weeks. Full offer: 8 to 12 weeks for initial launch.

Do I keep control of my site and content?

Yes. Your sites are built on Webflow, a CMS you manage independently. Your content belongs to you. Nothing is locked in — you remain the owner and 100% free. See our website creation page.

Do you work internationally?

Yes. We work with clients in France, the Netherlands, the United States, and beyond. Our field productions have taken us to 12 countries. We work in French and English.

What were the main objectives of the project?

Build a website that actually converts. Showcase their expeditions with immersive content. Structure a simple booking funnel. Generate more inquiries and sales. Learn more in our article "Digital strategy for travel agencies"

What was actually delivered?

A complete package: website redesign, on-location photo and video production, CMS and booking system setup, and a distribution strategy (social media and acquisition). The goal was not just to build a site, but to create a full acquisition system.

What results were achieved?

Key result: x10.7 ROI in 2 months. Approximately €88,400 in bookings generated through a campaign combining content and distribution.

Why did this project perform so well?

Because everything was designed as a whole: a website built to convert (not just look good), authentic content that inspires travel, and a strategy to reach the right people. It's the combination of all three that drives results.

Does visual content really make a difference?

Yes, a massive one. In tourism, emotion is the primary trigger. Real photos and videos dramatically increase engagement and conversion rates. Learn more in our article "Why travel agencies that invest in video sell more"

Does the site make booking easy?

Yes, a booking system was integrated to simplify the path to action and reduce friction for the user.

Does this type of project work for all agencies?

Yes, especially for agencies positioned around strong experiences (adventure, immersion, premium), that want to stand out, and that already have a solid offering but a website that doesn't convert. Learn more in our article "Why small travel agencies have an edge"

How much does a project like this cost?

Every project is custom depending on the level of design, content production (photo/video), and marketing strategy involved. The goal is not to build a site, but to make a profitable investment. Learn more in our article "How much does a travel agency website cost"

How quickly can you expect results?

In this specific case, the first results came within weeks of launch, with a strong impact from the very first campaigns.
