De Verdwaalde Jongens
Website design, video production and digital strategy for a Dutch adventure travel agency.
“The content gave a whole new dimension to our business. We’re far more professional than before.”
Jos, founder of De Verdwaalde Jongens, shares his experience working with Nomia. We brought deep adventure travel expertise to build an immersive website, a full CMS, a booking system, and a content strategy that has been driving reservations since day one.
De Verdwaalde Jongens “The Lost Boys” organizes exclusive expeditions to the most remote corners of Kyrgyzstan.
Their ambition: translate their raw and authentic vision of travel into an inspiring digital presence, capable of attracting explorers in search of meaning and adventure.
Our mission: translate this promise of exploration into a complete brand universe, website, visual identity, photo and video content.

Web & Design
We designed an immersive web experience inspired by off-road travel maps. The site lets images and stories lead, with clean design and smooth transitions that give space to the raw beauty of Kyrgyzstan.
Content creation
We joined the team on location to shoot films and photographs of rare intensity — content that captures their DNA. All visual material was designed from the start to work across their website and social media campaigns.

A complete package: website redesign, on-location photo and video production, CMS and booking system setup, and a distribution strategy (social media and acquisition). The goal was not just to build a site, but to create a full acquisition system.
Key result: x10.7 ROI in 2 months. Approximately €88,400 in bookings generated through a campaign combining content and distribution.
Because everything was designed as a whole: a website built to convert (not just look good), authentic content that inspires travel, and a strategy to reach the right people. It's the combination of all three that drives results.
Yes, a massive one. In tourism, emotion is the primary trigger. Real photos and videos dramatically increase engagement and conversion rates. Learn more in our article "Why travel agencies that invest in video sell more"
Yes, a booking system was integrated to simplify the path to action and reduce friction for the user.
Yes, especially for agencies positioned around strong experiences (adventure, immersion, premium), that want to stand out, and that already have a solid offering but a website that doesn't convert. Learn more in our article "Why small travel agencies have an edge"
Every project is custom depending on the level of design, content production (photo/video), and marketing strategy involved. The goal is not to build a site, but to make a profitable investment. Learn more in our article "How much does a travel agency website cost"
